How to Put Your Wig On

Step 1: Prep

Pull your clean, tangle-free hair, close to your scalp. A low ponytail or braid secured with hair clips makes things go more smoothly! To help contain your hair and add to the realism, use a wig cap that matches either your hair or the wig.

Step 2: Place

Holding the wig at the front edge, near the forehead. Then, slightly tilt your head forward and place the wig at your natural hairline. Slide the wig from front to back until you find the perfect position and it sits comfortably on your head.

Step 3: Secure

Using the wig’s adjustable straps, or clips, secure it in place. Use the back Velcro tabs to ensure it stays in place; you want it snug but not too tight! Finally, trim the lace and glue the wig to your hairline.

Step 4: Style

Gently brush or comb the wig to remove any tangles and help enhance its naturalness. Style however you please, and feel free to use products like hairspray or wax to help set it.
